Teachers and instructors seeking financial assistance for classroom needs can apply through Special Friends of Northwest Ohio’s classroom support program. Eligible applicants should prepare a brief project description outlining the intended use of funds, a simple budget listing estimated costs, and a statement of how the materials will benefit students. Applications are accepted year-round and may require school or administrator contact information for verification.

To apply:

• Complete the classroom support application form and attach the project description and budget.

• Include any relevant quotes or receipts if available.

• Submit contact information for your school and a supervising administrator.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority is given to projects that directly improve student learning, support students with special needs, or serve low-income classrooms. Applicants will be notified by email within 4–6 weeks of submission. If awarded, funds may be provided as a reimbursement or as a purchase arranged through Special Friends.
